Interesting Stuff that the Americans are Doing

Mankiw made a very interesting post about Dynamic Modeling of tax policy analysis. Of course, the only reason that I am into what the Americans have developed is because I am using a Canadian (static analysis only) modeling software built by Statistics Canada, the SPSD/M.

I would like to see what kind of algorithm that the Americans are using. Maybe some of their work can be applied to the SPSD/M one day, so that we can run dynamic analyses as well??!!
